Life is a journey and I'm proud to say I'm now a Certified Pilates instructor. Regardless of your favored activity(skiing, golf, volleyball, gym classes, etc), nothing can prepare your body better for life's challenges than Pilates. Try it!
Why do I say, 'No Pain, No Gain' can't be sustained? Often, I see people exercising and basing the success of the workout on how much they sweat, how much it 'hurt', and/or how sore they are the next day. Of course, we want to feel the 'burn'. However, it's not worth exercising if you end up with sore knees, back, etc and you end up working out less because your body just can't keep up, anymore.
